NewsVulcan Materials Company FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE VULCAN'S SUN VALLEY SAND AND GRAVEL PLANT RECEIVES September 02, 2005 (Los Angeles, CA) - Vulcan Materials Company (NYSE: VMC) announced today that its Sun Valley Sand and Gravel plant has received the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) Sentinels of Safety Award. This coveted award recognizes outstanding safety records of mining operations nationwide.
